In 1958 the first casual shoe was created with the launch of the Hush Puppies brand. The shoes were then designed for american families that wanted a more relaxed look in their footwear to compliment their casual lifestyles. The name and basset hound mascot were named by the sales manager after he surmised that the shoes were so comfortable they would quiet his "barking dogs." These comfortable and classic big shoes are available in men's large sizes 14, 15 & 16's both in regular and wide widths.
