The adventure begins when things go sideways, so Vans developed a shoe that would not only stand up to the journey, but keep you comfortable in the most uncomfortable of situations. The redesigned co-molded outsole with a reverse lug waffle pattern is built to maximize rubber coverage, grip, and durability while maintaining lightweight versatility, and the all-new, full-length UltraCush Lite midsole combines featherweight comfort with complete support. Armed with updated RapidWeld detailing, a breathable Old Skool-inspired upper, and a revamped rubber toe and forefoot shape to provide an optimal fit without sacrificing Vans design DNA, this is the UltraRange-evolved. The UltraRange EXO is made with sturdy textile and synthetic uppers.
• Increased Breathability: ULTRACUSH™ tongue with breathability ports for superior airflow
• Full Support: EXO Skeleton provides built-in support across the toes and medial sidewall, with a heel lock for a secure fit
• ULTRACUSH™ for Comfort: co-molded ULTRACUSH™ Lite midsole increases comfort, not weight
• All-Terrain Grip: Full rubber-wrapped reverse waffle lug outsole for improved traction and flexibility
Most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had
I love these shoes--I have two pairs, one standard and one "SE" model with suede uppers. They have cushy soles, but not too cushy, and are durable. The waffle soles have good traction. Standard model with canvas uppers are great for the summer. In classic Vans, I wear a size 15; in these, I chose a 16 and appreciate the extra toe room.
So you need some comfortable sneakers for you old man feet, but don't want to wear an uncool running shoe like your podiatrist keeps telling you? Then get these babies and from 20 feet away everyone will think you are still cool. These are actually a really nice shoe.
dope shoes, quite comfortable, and very light.
