These Just in for Runners

With the sun out in Portland, Oregon the running trails are getting busier, and meanwhile we’re stocking more and more running shoes to fit your big feet. I’ll be highlighting some of the newest and most exciting styles. This one’s for you, runners.

LOTS OF ASICS
If you’re following our Instagram you’ll know that we got tons of new ASICS in recently and are now carrying thirteen styles/colors in big sizes, some wide sizes, and a variety of support levels for all runners. First up, we have the brand new GT-1000 8 and based on the preliminary reviews it looks to be a lightweight stability shoe, not too far off from its predecessor, the GT-1000 7.

For a slightly more lightweight and flexible option check out the Roadhawk FF2 Twist. It’s not only cool looking, but will hold up as a solid training shoe. The more seasoned Roadhawk FF2 in a darker color scheme is still well stocked and well reviewed.

Also be sure to consider the GEL-Excite 6, the GEL-Cumulus 21, and the GEL-Nimbus 21 if you want to see all the new ASICS we have to offer.

WRITER’S CHOICE

It was a bittersweet moment for me when the New Balance Zante Pursuits came in. Sweet because the Zante Pursuit is my favorite running shoe of all time, and bitter because they came in mens sizes 14-16 (wide included). And since I can’t buy out all the Zantes we have stocked, I figured I’d pass on a rave review to you all. These are lightweight and springy, but still have plenty of traction to take out to the trail.

COMFORT & STABILITY

The last running shoes I want to highlight are our selection of Mizunos. This brand is great for the runner/walker that needs a little extra stability and cushion. We currently have the Wave Rider 22, Waveknit R2, and Wave Inspire 15 in stock.

(If you’re not big on running but like going to the gym, check out the Nike Free Trainer v8 for a great all-around training shoe.)
